UXplore Technologies is building a location-based discovery platform that connects people, places and businesses through the physical world around them. Instead of searching first and finding a place later, UXplore is designed around a simpler idea: what if the places around you could find you?

Traditional digital discovery usually starts with a search. You open Google, Instagram, YouTube or another platform, type what you are looking for, browse the results, compare options and then decide where to go.

UXplore takes a different approach. The starting point is where you are. As a person moves through a city, destination, hotel, shopping area or tourist attraction, UXplore surfaces relevant experiences and information connected to that physical environment.

This creates a new layer between the digital world and the real world. A user doesn't have to know what to search for. They can simply explore.

Location becomes the interface

UXplore is built around location-based content, or what we call Drops. A Drop can contain information, imagery, video, audio, business details and calls to action associated with a particular location.

Imagine walking through London. Instead of opening multiple apps to search for restaurants, attractions, events, shops or experiences, UXplore presents relevant Drops around you. One might tell you about a historic building. Another introduces a nearby restaurant. Another showcases a hotel. Another connects you directly with a business.

The important part: the content is not organised around a website or a social-media feed. It is organised around the world.

From maps to experiences

Maps are excellent at telling us where something is. UXplore adds another dimension: what can I experience here?

A map can show a restaurant. UXplore can turn that restaurant into an interactive experience containing its story, food, videos, images, offers, social channels, website and direct calls to action. A map can show a tourist attraction. UXplore can attach history, storytelling and immersive content to that location.

This is where location-based content becomes more than navigation. It becomes location commerce and location storytelling.

AR brings the digital layer into the real world

UXplore uses Augmented Reality as an interface for discovering this information. Instead of a conventional list of search results, users discover digital content within their physical surroundings. A Drop can appear in an AR, XR or VR environment, letting information and experiences exist alongside the real world.

The objective isn't to use AR because it looks futuristic. The objective is to make information contextual. When information is connected to a physical place, it becomes more useful because the user is already there.
